For the Romans, the Earth was not merely a place to inhabit. It was a living connection between gods, humanity, nature, and destiny. Their myths were not simply stories of powerful beings; they were a symbolic language through which they explored the forces that shaped existence.
The Earth is a journey into that ancient worldview.
The painting brings together symbols from Roman mythology and philosophy, reflecting the Roman belief that life exists within a greater order. Symbols of Jupiter, Neptune, creation, love, harmony, strength, humility, and transformation appear as fragments of a forgotten visual language—one that once helped humanity understand its relationship with the universe.
At the centre of the work is the idea that power and wisdom must exist together. Ancient Rome was built upon ambition and conquest, yet its mythology also carried profound reflections on balance, responsibility, and the forces beyond human control. The gods represented not only authority but also the natural and spiritual principles that governed life.
The Earth itself becomes the ultimate symbol: the foundation from which all civilizations rise and eventually return. Mountains, ancestral forms, and sacred objects appear as reminders that every empire, no matter how powerful, remains connected to the same source—the living planet that sustains it.

Please note that I will create this painting once you purchase it, please allow me at least 1-2 weeks to create and get it ready for shipment. It will be as close as possible to the one you see here however, it won't be identical as each of my paintings is Original and unique.

MATERIAL
I only use fine quality materials for my paintings.
SHIPMENT
Canvas: Canvas will be shipped rolled inside a tube. I won't be able to ship stretched painting on the frame due to oversized, expensive shipping. The canvas will be rolled in a tube, as my customer prefers it so that they can get it stretched in their local framing store. You will save unnecessary shipment costs, and the risk of accidental damage to the painting will be eliminated.
