The Life explores one of humanity's oldest and most profound questions: what does it truly mean to exist?
Inspired by the symbols and mythology of Ancient Egypt, this painting reflects a civilization that dedicated thousands of years to understanding the relationship between the physical world and the unseen realm. To the Egyptians, symbols were not simply artistic expressions; they were sacred carriers of knowledge, connecting humanity with the forces that shaped the universe.
The ancient Egyptian symbol of life, the Ankh, stood as a powerful reminder that existence continues beyond the visible world. It represented not only physical life, but also vitality, balance, and the eternal connection between humanity, nature, and the divine.
The layered forms within the composition echo the way Egyptians viewed time itself—not as a straight line, but as a continuous cycle. The rising and setting of the Sun, the flooding of the Nile, the changing seasons, and the journey of the soul after death were all expressions of the same universal rhythm: renewal.
The Egyptians understood that humanity was part of a greater order. Their gods represented the forces of creation, protection, wisdom, and transformation, while their rituals and symbols reflected a deep desire to live in harmony with the universe.
Yet beneath the grandeur of pyramids and temples was a simple human longing—the desire to understand our place in existence and to believe that our journey carries meaning.
As part of my Art of Symbols collection, The Life explores the ancient Egyptian belief that wisdom is found not through conquering the world, but through understanding our relationship with it.
Thousands of years have passed since the great civilisation of Egypt flourished, yet its symbols continue to speak to us. They remind us that humanity has always searched for answers beyond the physical:
Where do we come from?
What is the purpose of our existence?
And does life continue beyond what we can see?
The Life is a tribute to the eternal human quest to understand the mystery of being alive.

MATERIAL
I only use fine quality materials for my paintings.
SHIPMENT
Canvas: Those paintings done on stretched canvas will be shipped rolled inside a tube. I won't be able to ship stretched painting on the frame due to oversized, expensive shipping. The canvas will be rolled in a tube, as my customer prefers it so that they can get it stretched in their local framing store. You will save unnecessary shipment costs, and the risk of accidental damage to the painting will be eliminated.
